We are so looking forward to seeing you, come rain or shine.

Take care

Newly constructed in October 2013, our bright, spacious cafe seats up to 75 people with additional tables outside, on the undercover patio area. Positioned overlooking the beck, this is the perfect spot to sit, relax and take in the idyllic surroundings whilst sampling some of our delicious home-cooked fare.

Owner chef Sylvia Welbank has spent over 30 years in the catering industry and comes from a long line of farming women. In the cafe the team combines traditional farm fare with modern cookery techniques. Using fresh local ingredients is the foundation for Ireby Green cafĂ© and all our dishes are created and prepared onsite to order.

If it’s a protein hit you’re after, we provide a full Ireby breakfast which is guaranteed to hit the spot, featuring locally reared pork and free-range eggs.

For those special occasions, or if you simply fancy a little indulgence, let us know in advance and we can prepare one of our scrumptious afternoon teas, offering a selection of hand-made sweet and savoury treats just for you.

Our Sunday roast lunches, featuring locally reared beef and lamb, are very popular and it is advisable to book in advance.

Dairy, wheat and gluten free options are always available and should you have any other dietary requirements then our friendly kitchen staff are more than happy to accommodate you.

We can also cater for functions, seating up to 80 people, by prior arrangement.

Also available to purchase from the farm shop are a wonderful array of Hawkshead jams and preserves along with a variety of crafts produced largely by local artists, such as M G Robinson, Haigh Crafts and Abundant Love Ltd.

And that’s not all. Once you’ve digested your hearty meal, why not take a leisurely stroll along our beautiful farm track, taking in spectacular views of Ingleborough and the distant peaks of the Lake District.
